Delete an app from your Mac. Click its icon until it starts shaking; then click the black X that appears. If you delete an app that you purchased from the Mac App Store, you can download it again at no charge. If you own an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, all this will seem familiar because those devices have the Launchpad feature. There are multiple ways to find and launch Mac apps, and we're here to tell you about 5 of them. These including Finder, Spotlight, Launchpad, Dock, and Siri. Some are faster than others though. Luckily, you can add an app to Launchpad fairly easily. Open the Finder app on your Mac. Navigate to the Applications folder (or wherever your program is). Click and drag the app from the Finder window to the silver Launchpad icon on the Dock. Release the app. At this point, your app should have appeared in the Launchpad.
Apple’s Launchpad is a handy way to quickly launch apps on your Mac. By default, it usually sits in your Dock, but it can be removed. If you need Launchpad and can’t find it, it’s easy to add it to the Dock again. Here’s how.
Launchpad was first introduced in Mac OS X 10.7 Lion back in 2010. If you have an older Mac that you’ve upgraded—or if you’ve removed Launchpad by dragging off the Dock—you might not see Launchpad where you expect it.
Even though it feels like a special part of macOS, Launchpad is just a regular app. https://mjzgqn.weebly.com/blog/google-team-drive-app-mac. To get it back, we first need to open the Applications folder.
Switch to Finder, then select Go > Applications from the menu bar at the top of the screen. You can also press Shift+Command+A to open the Applications folder quickly.

With the “Applications” folder open, locate the “Launchpad” icon. Click and drag it toward the Dock.
As you approach the Dock, other applications will slide to the side, and when the Launchpad icon is where you’d like it, release the mouse or trackpad button. Launchpad will stay in that spot.

With the release of Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion), Apple released an application launcher called Launchpad. This iOS-style application launcher lets you easily access your applications from one central location on your Mac. We will be showing you how to easily customize Launchpad by rearranging the order of your apps.
Before we start, make sure your Mac is running Mac OS X 10.7 or higher. This tutorial does not require any additional software.
Rearranging Apps On Launchpad
Open Launchpad by simply clicking on the Launchpad app on your Mac’s dock. If you have removed Launchpad from your dock, search for “Launchpad” in Spotlight search and launch it.
Once you have launched Launchpad, click and hold on the application you would like to move. When you do this, the app’s logo will start to “jiggle”.
To move the app, simply drag it around with your trackpad or mouse. To delete an application downloaded from the Mac App Store, simply click-and-hold the icon and click the ‘X’ that appears in the upper left corner. When you are done rearranging your apps, simply press the escape key on your keyboard. The apps will now stop jiggling.
